Description

Early 20th century with alterations. 3-storey and attic; 5-bay; terraced tenement block with shops to ground floor. Free Edwardian Baroque with radiating keyblocks and curved pediment to central 1st floor window to principal (E) elevation. Polished ashlar. Mutuled eaves cornice. Moulded surrounds to 1st and 2nd floor windows (those to 2nd floor are roll-moulded).

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central entrance with moulded surround and elongated triple keyblock; panelled timber door with rectangular fanlight. Flanking modern shopfronts with moulded surrounds with cavetto-moulded lintels with central inverted keyblocks. 1st floor window with lugged architrave and elongated triple keyblock with curved Baroque pediment head over it. Windows to each floor to each remaining bay. Flat-headed 5-light late 20th century dormer above eaves.

2-light timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof. Coped gablehead stack to N; round cans.
