According to the window inscription, William Allen was Rector here 1831 to 1872. The stained glass panels show scenes from the life of Christ - Stepping from the tomb, Receiving the host or grail at night, The angel visits Mary. Ascension, Crucifixion, Nativity. The Holy Spirit and St Peter with the Key to Heaven, The Stigmata examined, John baptises Jesus. (Photo Oct 2010)
