By 1885 the building was crumbling and repair work was commissioned by Lord Cawdor. David Brandon of London was the architect and James Rogers of Tenby the builder. They built a new chancel arch and a new south transept and refurbished all the windows. The organ was built in 1842, and it is believed, originally owned by Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1857). After Mendelssohn, the organ was moved to the church at Sibton, Suffolk. In 1867 it was bought for St Mary's Church, Angle Bay by John Mirehouse. Twenty years later, it was moved to the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, Caslellmartin, and remained there until 1988. The organ was repaired in 1916, and the work was paid for by Cecil Elinor Lambton esquire in memory of his grandmother, Mary Levett, daughter of John Mirehouse of Angle and Brownslade. By 1988, it was necessary to repair the organ again, and it was moved to Warren and repaired as part of the restoration work there. The altar table was made in Bergen, and was given to the church by the Department of Defense, Federal Republic of Germany. (Church guide). (Photo Oct 2010).
