Circular Cast-iron red letter box of standard design. Narrow cylinder with fluted rim to shallow domes cap bearing sign bracket; modern sign. Crowned GR monogram to door over lettering POST OFFICE. By McDowall Steven and Co Ltd of London and Glasgow.
