Probably contemporary with the house (mid C18) but with later repairs. Close to line of medieval town wall.
Walls of red brick with stone capping . Long wall on eastern side of garden is partly of stone towards NE end. Wall at northern end of garden is to the N of the line of the medieval town wall which runs through the garden but which for this part of its course no longer exists above ground level.
