History

Victorian refronting of a late Georgian building, (shown on 1847 Tithe map).

Exterior

3-storey, 2-window brick front, wide bracket eaves and brick chimney stack midway up front verge. Sash windows to 2nd floor with glazing bars removed; voussoir lintels; splayed bays to 1st floor with sash glazing above overall shop front with Victorian Gothic fascia ends carried on brackets and truncated colonnettes; panelled end pilasters. Plate glass shop window curves into splayed central entrance with glazed door; sash window to right and ventilation band to stallriser.
