Exterior

2-storey, 3-window coursed rubble front; slate roof with skylight to right, brick end chimney stacks. 12-pane sashes to 1st floor with voussoir lintels, the right hand window is blocked and the other two have window-box holders. Central 2-light shop window with cornice and end pilasters; boarded door to left leading into cross passage and recessed entrance to right with 4-panel half glazed door, panelled reveals and pilasters. Shop window with similar pilasters returned around corner. 2 sash windows, as on front, to right end.

Attached to rear is a rubble cross range extending down Brook Street, the southern end is domestic with small pane sash windows. Beyond that extends a 3-storey warehouse set in the slope with undulating slate roof and 3-tier boarded doors, the top one with swept roof. Louvred ventilator beyond and various camber headed openings. Recessed broad entrance at right end with one brick jamb. Lower 2-storey corrugated roof range attached at end and rubble cross range extends into large courtyard created between this property and The Limited Bookshop.
