History

Later C18/Early C19

Exterior

Timber framed building. Later plan form with entry opposite stair between parlour and hall; kitchen to right end.

2 storey, 3 window. Light box framing, tall panels brick nogged with scantling. English garden wall bond brick end walls. Gently pitched slate roof, later bargeboards, deep eaves. Brick stacks to centre and left end.
Iron central opening light to 3 light casement wood windows on front elevation. Panelled door. Cambered header arch to doorway in right end.

Later brick outshut to rear, lean-to roof, part slate/part abestos. 2 light small paned casement windows, iron cames.

Interior

Axial stop chamfered beams. Broad fireplace to kitchen, similar with cambered mantel arch to Hall.

Reasons for Listing

A good late example of the timber-framed tradition of Montgomeryshire.
