History

Retaining wall and railings to earlier C19 house, the wall rebuilt and the railings probably early C20 on concrete coping. The building of the wall may relate to the new Newport road, completed in 1923.

Exterior

High retaining wall of stone rubble surmounted by iron railings which have uprights with spiked finials. Small inset squares of scrolls in centre of each section, between standards with urn finials.
