History

c 1700. Formerly thatched. Shown with porch on Tithe map of 1846. Former byre later incorporated into dwelling.

Exterior

Farmhouse with attached ranges either side. Of stone rubble, rendered and painted, with steeply pitched Welsh slate roof and brick end stacks. Single storey and attic with upper windows projecting into the roof. Ground floor windows either side of a central gabled porch; all windows and doorway currently boarded up. Battered. Wall to former front yard extend from either side. Stepped down to right is a two bay wing, probably formerly a byre, and at each end a single storey wing. Similar rear window openings to attic.

Interior

Interior believed to retain large stone fireplace with bake oven and stone stairs adjacent and massive cross beams chamfered and stopped. A-frame roof trusses with 2 rows of purlins.
