History

Early C19 cottage probably a predecessor to the larger house, Cwm Dewi Fawr, built at right angles.

Exterior

Whitewashed rendered walls with asbestos roof and stone end stacks, larger to left. Single-storey, double-fronted with centre door and 12-pane sash each side. Loft light in W end wall over lean-to.

Reasons for Listing

A good example of small single-storey cottage, once typical of the area now rare. Group value in setting with Cwm Dewi Fawr.
