History

Mid/late C19 cast-iron milepost made by the Eagle Foundry, Aberystwyth. This section of road was managed by the Aberystwyth Turnpike Trust, which was set up in 1770.

Cast-iron milepost with two-faced angled front, bevelled to sloping top.
