History
Probably C18 or early C19 in origin, replacing a ford.
Exterior
Built of local carboniferous limestone. A hump-back bridge formed by a semicircular arched tunnel faced by rough voussoirs, and a rough block coping terminating in a large boulder at the SE side. The parapet and spandrels are splayed on plan and descend to die away into the ground.

Included as an unaltered traditional country bridge.

Bryn-yr-odyn Lane runs N of Pentre-dwfr on the E side of the valley. Bwlch-issa is part of a small cluster of buildings approximately 750m from the road junction in Pentre-dwfr.
