C19 road direction sign on bridge of c1855. A further sign of same type once existed on opposite NW parapet wall of bridge.
Vernacular slate sign set horizontally into side of wall forming SW parapet of bridge. Slim slate slab approx 100mm x 600mm. Incised capital lettering 'TO LLANIESTYN 1 1/4', and in small letters over the number; 'MILES', and hand with pointing finger on right side (similar to milestone near Bodgadle Farm).
