Late C19 bank building.
Four storeys plus attic; 3 bays. Dutch Renaissance style. Portland stone with granite bank front. Central attic dormer with Dutch gable flanked by camber-headed dormers. Upper floors have windows grouped in pairs between relief panels; between 2nd and 3rd floors; between 1st and 2nd floors, band of male and female terms separated by relief panels. Ground floor bank front with grey Tuscan columns superimposed on red granite arches; entrance in R bay.
Elaborate late Victorian commercial building.
