History

Probably early C19 and possibly built in 2 phases. Shown on the Whitford tithe map of 1846-9.

Exterior

Small 2-window 2-storey cottage constructed of random stone under a slate roof with end stacks, stone to L and rendered to R. Boarded door with timber lintel slightly R of centre flanked by 2-light multi-pane casement windows, that to the L under a segmental head of stone voussoirs. Very small horizontal-sliding sashes to upper storey, immediately under the eaves. No openings to gable ends. Small rear lean-to visible at N end.

No access to interior at time of inspection.

Listed as a little altered cottage of this vernacular type retaining its character.
