Public road bridge over Leeds-Liverpool Canal. c1790-6. For
Leeds-Liverpool Canal Company; engineer, Robert Whitworth;
altered. Coursed squared sandstone. Semi-elliptical arch with
rusticated voussoirs, plain bands, parapets with ridged
coping, concave curved abutments and rectangular terminal
piers; oval number plate "134" on central voussoir of north
side; C20 metal footbridge attached to south side. North
parapet slightly damaged at time of survey (1991).
