GV II

Cottage. Early to mid C19, altered and enlarged in C20.
Sandstone random rubble (the front now heavily covered with
ivy), stone slate roof. Simplified Jacobean style. Single
depth 2-unit plan.
One-and-a-half storeys, 2 windows, symmetrical, with a
1st-floor band; central doorway now protected by shallow
gabled porch (being completed at time of survey, 1991); two
2-light mullioned windows on each floor, those at 1st floor
under gabled half-dormers, all with raised sills and chunky
square-cut mullions, and C20 glazing. Roof with oversailing
verge and plain bargeboarding at south end; no chimney.
Single-storey extension to left and rear.
