Probably early to mid C19. 2 storeys. 2 attic dormers, sash, with tile-hung
gables over. Band. Brick above. Flint with brick dressings below. On ground
floor, sash window to north-west in slightly segmental arch; 3 sided bay of
later date with slate roof to south-east. Door with rectangular fanlight;
flat topped hood over supported by cast iron shafts. Tiled roof with half
hip to each side. Addition to south: double-hipped slate roof. Flint and
brick below; brick above; painted. Eastern wall is flush with the road and
is flanked by a garden wall at either side.
Rose Cottage and Rest Harrow form a Group.
