Monument to Sir William Earle Welby Bt., only son of Sir William Earle welby Bt. and his first wife Penelope, daughter of Sir John Glynne Bt. of Hawarden Castle, Flintshire. He married Wilhelmina, only child of William Spey Esq. Governor of Barbados. They had 4 sons and 7 daughters. Born 15th Nov 1768, died 3rd Nov 1852. Erected by his eldest surviving son, Sir Glynne Earle Welby Bt. (Photo Sept 2012).
