GV II

Barn. C18 or early C19. Timber frame weatherboarded with slate
roof. Tall 5-bay unaisled barn facing W with central projecting
gabled porch. Double doors and low double doors at rear. Lean-
to extensions flanking porch. Unjowled posts, long curved braces
to tie beams. Queen-post trusses with one purlin. Staggered
mid-height rails. Porch has knee-braces to doorway and angle
ties to outer corners. Included for group value.
