2/45 Noah's Ark

GV II

House. Early C18, extended with 'EC 1831' on rainwater heads.
Timber frame plastered. S side partly cased in brick. Brick
extensions to front and rear with stucco labels to windows.
Steep, roofs now slated. 2-storeys, 3-unit plan house with end
chimneys, facing S. External gable stack and former winding
stair at W end, internal gable stack at E where the gable is at
an angle to the sidewalls. 2 and a half storeys S parlour wing
of 1831 with main entrance and new staircase. Contemporary small
2 storeyed gabled wing at rear. Mixture of casement windows and
sashes on ground floor in old range. Recessed sash windows with
6/6-panes and moulded stucco labels in S wing and brick facing to
SW part of old range. Reeded pilasters and shaped brackets to
flat panelled hood of front door. Interior has chamfered axial
beams, c i basket grates and 2-panel door.
