GV II

House, now 4 houses. Early C18, extended and altered in mid C19.
Red brick with a steep old red tile roof and 2 stock brick
central chimneys. Stock brick hipped roofs mid C19 rear
extensions. A 2-storeys and attics, 6-windows wide building
facing W. The front consists of a 1-window matching extension to
the N end of the older house with projecting floor band
continued. Tall upright windows with flush casements and top
lights under flat gauged arches. 2 round arched doorways between
1st and 2nd windows from each end serving recessed paved
entrances. S doorway in line with chimney suggests an original
lobby-entrance 3-unit plan house. 4 flat topped casement dormers
in the front roof slope.
