GV II

House formerly the Vicarage. Mid to late C18, altered and
extended to rear c18OO. 2-storeys and attics, with plinth and
roughcast walls possibly covering a timberframe. Slated gambrel
roof with upper part of rear slope extended-to cover parallel
rear extension. Door and canted full-height bay window on the
narrow S end with pyramid extension of main roof over bay. 3
flat topped dormers on W slope of roof. W front to road has 3-
windows on 1st floor and 4 on ground floor. Flush box sashes
with architrave and 6/6 panes. Sash windows to bay and over
door. Flush-panelled half-glazed door with round headed radial
fanlight. Panelled, pilastered doorcase with elongated consoles
supporting a flat moulded hood on shaped brackets.
