SO 54 NW MARDEN CP LITMARSH

House. Probably late C17 or early C18, altered c1900 and restored c1984.
Timber-frame, plaster infill which is rebuilt or masked on north part
of west side by c1900 front, pantile roofs. Two plus three bays, aligned
roughly north/south. West elevation: c1900 two-storey part to left,
rendered end stack, late C20 glazing bar casements, the two on the first
floor with top vents. Right part of one storey and attic is restored;
two glazing bar casements, one either side of a pair of late C20 doors
in a contemporary pantiled lean-to porch, late C20 gabled dormer to top
left. East elevation has framing exposed for all its length and local type
rendered stone end stack with detached brick shaft to north end.
