Two hop kilns, maltings and service block. Hop kiIns and maltings: late C19,
brick, slate roofs: pyramidical to kilns with wooden cowls and vanes.
Rectangular plan with a square hop kiln at east and west ends. North
elevation: two storeys, two windows, segmental heads. Two large fans under
a flat canopy project above eaves level;two small windows one either side of
central ledged door to first floor; six windows evenly spaced to ground floor,
two in each section, the central two have two lights, the rest one light;
three ledged doors, one to centre and one each to left and right hand sides -
the latter is a stable door. Service block: is bonded into the south side
of hop kilns and has a rounded corrugated iron roof.
