Gates, boundary walls and railings to rear gardens of Nos 2-20
Gower Street (qv), entered individually behind houses and with
a main gate fronting Malet Street. Late C19. Made for the
Bedford Estate. Brick walls with stone coping; to rear of
houses with scroll enriched cast and wrought railings and
openwork box gate piers having floral finials, scroll
patterned gates. Main entrance gate fronting Malet Street
probably later. Flanking stone piers have moulded panels with
keystones and ball finials. Openwork cast and wrought-iron box
piers with floral finials; scroll patterned gates with
flowers.
