Probably earlier C19. Range of traditional stone cottages in 4 blocks. 2 storeys
plus another at rear which is partly in separate occupation. Each has pair
of stone-framed windows and bracketed eaves-cornice to stone roof. Nos 11
to 31 gain interest from gallery added to rear with bridge to stair tower etc,
all of Gothic character and mid/later C19 date., This was one of the several
architectural exercises of a notable local dye manufacturer J E Wainehouse.
Partly derelict at time of inspection.

Nos 3 & 4 and Nos 7 to 31 (consec) form a group.
