Memorial lampstandard to Richard Baker Bellyse. Erected c.1877. Grey
granite and cast iron. Square plinth with chamfered base and cyma
moulded top supporting a cast iron lampstandard which has 4 lion paw
feet with acanthus leaf gaiters supporting a circular cyma moulded
base from which spring three ranges of 4 demi-columns placed one upon
the other with flutings to their necks or lower bodies. These
culminate in a Corinthian capital from the head of which springs a C20
pole bearing 3 lamps.
