Terrace of three estate cottages. Probably a mid C19 rebuild. Shale rubble with granite quoins and dressings. Gabled asbestos slate roof with diagonally set brick chimneys. Each cottage has two-room plan. Two storeys. Seven-window north front consists of identical pair of cottages left and middle each with central entrance; two-light wooden casements; eight panes each with cambered wooden lintels to ground floor and gabled dormers over. Wide verge and eaves throughout. Gable of no. 13 right is larger, slightly projecting and has partly blocked four-centred arched door now a window and three-light wooden casement eight panes each, over with chambered wooden lintel and finial with pendant to apex. Ground floor of this part is converted to domestic use and was the smithy.
