Cottage, formerly one of a pair. Probably late C18, slightly altered. Uncourse
killas rubble, cement washed and painted white, slate roof with a granite
chimney and a brick chimney. Rectangular single-depth 2-unit plan with small
rear outshut. Two low storeys and 2 bays; symmetrical; central doorway with a
recessed board door; 2 small square windows on each floor, all with 6-pane
sashes in exposed boxes; left corner of facade supported by large full-height
buttress; right-hand corner ends with ragged masonry (caused by demolition of
No.88). Large square corniced chimney of granite blocks at left gable; small
brick chimney at right-hand gable. Rear blind except for small outshut. Interior
not inspected, but may contain features of interest.
