Farmhouse, woodshed and barn. Dated over rear archway of barn 1835. Coursed
Skiddaw slate, with large flush quoins, on slate plinth. Graduated greenslate
roof with cement rendered chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower
single-bay woodshed to left and lower long barn to right. 6-panel door in
alternate-block sandstone surround. Sash windows with glazing bars, that to
right of entrance double, all in sandstone surrounds. Woodshed has doorway and
loft opening. Barn has through cart archway nearest house. Ground floor plank
doors and sliding door with lofts above, one with external stone steps. Vents
below eaves. Rear has projecting cart entrance and sandstone-surround openings.
