Farmhouse, now 2 houses, and adjoining barn. Late C18 or early C19. Mixed
slate and cobble rubble under graduated greenslate roof with brick chimney
stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays each with lower former barn to right. Gate Farm has
plank door and sash windows in sandstone surrounds. Cottage has C20 door partly
in alternate-block red sandstone surround. Sash windows, those above entrance
double and with glazing bars, all in sandstone surrounds. Former barn has loft
door. C20 garage extension to front is not of interest.
