c.1890 2-storey broad-arrow shaped 8-bay office building of red Ruabon brick
with stone parapet copings to end gables in form of open pediments. Octagonal
clock tower with Tuscan window surrounds and entablature to square uppermost
stage under cupola roof. Stone mullioned 2-storey bay to Dock Street with 2-
pane sashes. 4-pane recessed sashes to main (south-east) elevation, under
rounded arched lintels to lower storey, pointed arched lintels to upper storey.
Classical entrance portico with simplified Ionic caps to columns.
