8/109 Cowhouse and barn
- approximately 30 yards north
of Abcott House

Cowhouse and barn. Early C18. Weatherboarded timber framing with
some brick repairs; corrugated iron roof. L-shaped plan. Lofted cow-
house aligned east-west with attached 3-bay barn to the south-west aligned
north-south. North front. 2 boarded doors, and a small left hand
window to the ground floor. 4 loft openings. Interior. Roof trusses
have raking struts extending from tie beam to principals. 2 tiers of wall
panels, the lower tall and rectangular, the upper square; long straight
tension braces. Included for group value. Abcott House is not included
in this list.
