GORING STATION ROAD SU6080 (North side) Goring 12/71 The Old Farmhouse 24/10/51

House. Probably mid c18. Red brick; plain tile roof; brick stacks. Double depth plan. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Central square-plan parch of Doric columns supporting flat roof. 6-panel door with decorative fanlight. l6-pane sashes to ground and first floor with pointed glazing bars to top. Rendered brick bands between ground and first floor and first and second floor. 12-pane sashes to second floor. Hipped roof with lead ridges. Irregular fenestration to right return; C19 door surround to left with glazed doors and overlight. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest. Probably late C17 single-storey wing to rear.
