House in row, with shop. C18 front on C16 or C17 fabric.
Flemish bond brickwork, timber-framing, tile roof, brick
stacks. The front range, with a parapeted front concealing the
roof, covers a throughway to the right. 3 storeys, 2-windowed.
12-pane sashes, possibly reduced in depth at first floor, in
painted brick voussoirs and stone cills. C19 shop front with
door and transom-light to the left, and similar doorway to
throughway, right, all under a deep fascia with moulded
cornice. Plain coped parapet. Stack to the right. In the
throughway is a series of 7 beams, a timber framed wall, and
remains of a Tudor door-head approx 1m from the front, with
enriched spandrels and moulded timber cambered head, probably
corresponding with an original wall under jettied upper
floors. INTERIOR not inspected.
