Town house with shop. 1860-62. By Henry Rice. Red brick front
with channelled granite ashlar to ground floor granite quoins,
keyblocks and string and some freestone dressings;
bitumen-grouted slate roof with widely-spaced modillion
cornice; brick stack on the left. Double-depth plan. 3
storeys; 3-window range. Keyed segmental arches over original
4-pane hornless sashes on bracketed sills; chamfered jambs.
Ground floor has mid C20 shop front on the left and doorway on
the right with panelled door and moulded entablature over.
INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest. Included
for group value.
