GV II
Linhay and stable, now stables, loose boxes and loft. Probably C18 with late C20
alterations. Coursed stone rubble, cob over rubble plinth to rear. C20 concrete
blockwork filling loft openings and C20 weatherboarding to gable end. Gable-ended
Welsh-slate roof.
Plan: The building faces onto a farmyard to south and backs onto a lane to north.
Former 2-bay linhay to left and small stable with loft to right. C20 alterations
include enclosure of loft and conversion of ground floor into stabling and loose
boxes. One storey and loft.
Exterior: Stable to right with central doorway and flanking windows. C20 loft
doorway in third bay of linhay to left. Ground floor of 3 bays converted to stables
with boarded door and small-paned window. Ground floor of right-hand bay open with
gate and ground floor of 3 left-hand bays open with C20 steel doors. 2 boarded loft
doors to rear.
Interior of former linhay with large chamfered cross beams and C20 joists.
