GV II

House, now offices. C16, altered C18 and C19. Timber-framed,
stuccoed, moulded cornice to old tiled roof with 2 hip-roofed
casement dormers, and tall red brick stack with oversailing
course at left. 2 storeys and attics, continuous jetty to
first floor over corbels, with rusticated stucco quoins at
ends, and 2 flush 3-light casement windows. Ground floor has
paired closed windows with glazing bars, with pilasters left
and right, and central recessed half-glazed door. Large C18
outshoot covers two thirds of the back, red brick, with part
timber-framed and plastered gable end, and old tiled roof.
INTERIOR: internally now connected through to No.45 (qv), and
appears to have a similar origin as a 2 bay, 2 storeyed
structure, with a crown post roof, originally unheated.
