House, now offices. C16, altered C18 and C19. Timber-framed,
stuccoed, old tiled roof with 2 box casement dormers, central
red brick chimneystack with oversailing course and 3
terracotta pots. 2 cell plan with no sign of chimney in
original building; the existing stack is a later insertion. 2
storeys, and attics with continuous jettied first floor
oversailing on wooden brackets and 2 flush set sash windows
with glazing bars. Ground floor has 2 early C19 canted bay
windows, with modern plate glass. Central doorway, with
half-glazed door in reveal.
INTERIOR: internal exposure of timber-framing, particularly in
attics, where a former 2 bay crown-post roof structure was
removed to create a useable space.
