House, now shops, with offices above. C16, altered C18, C19
and C20. Timber-framed, colourwashed brick front, with old
tiled roof. 2 storeys. First floor with 2 flush set sashes
with exposed boxes and glazing bars. Ground floor rebuilt
1980s, with recessed modern 6 panel hardwood door at left, and
multi-paned flush set triple-light modern sash window at
right. Long rear outshoot.
INTERIOR: first floor of Nos 41 and 43 (qv) now opened out as
a single unit, and accessible through entrance of No.41.
Timber-framed structure visible internally, including a lower
section of roof with studs, wall-plate, smoke-blackened
rafters and part of an unglazed wooden mullioned window.
