Three houses, now house and 2 shops. Probably late C17 or
early C18; C20 rear wing; No.45 with C20 front. Timber frame
with brick and some plaster; tile roof with hipped end to wing
and brick stack to rear of ridge. 2 storeys; 3-window range
with cross wing to right end. No.41 has some exposed brick and
plastered 1st floor; No.43 has plastered brick ground floor
and timber-framing with plastered infill above; No.45 has
brick front with parapet. 2 entrances with C20 doors. Ground
floor has casement window to left end and plate glass shop
windows: No.45 has shop front with fascia; 1st floor has
3-light casements; No.45 with 3 windows. INTERIOR: chamfered
beams and joists; No.45 has exposed timber-framed cross walls,
large rear fireplace with offset stack to 1st floor, and heavy
timbers to rear gable.
