Pair of small town houses. Mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond,
with sandstone dressings and slate roof. Double-depth plan,
each house single-fronted, with coupled back extensions. Two
storeys, 2+2 windows; with 1st floor sillband, plain frieze
and moulded gutter cornice. Doorways to the right, with
pilastered architraves and panelled doors with overlights;
stone canted bay windows at ground floor with cornices and
blocking courses, these and all the windows at 1st floor
sashed with glazing bars and margin panes. Ridge chimneys.
Forms group with No.4 (adjoining to left, q.v.) and No.3
(adjoining that), No.7 continued to the right is not included.
