Narrowly detached villa (linked on ground floor). c1830-40 Portland Estate St
John's Wood villa development. Stucco; slate roof. Italianate-Grecian. 2
storeys on basement. 3 windows wide. Ionic columned porch to left approached by
steps. Recessed sashes in architrave surrounds, with cornices on consoles to
ground floor. Plat band over basement. Overhanging eaves to low pitch hipped
roof. Flanking corniced chimney stacks. Ground floor windows have cast iron
Grecian geometric pattern balconettes. Similar villa type to the adjoining Eyre
Estate.
