Narrowly detached villa (linked on ground floor). c1830-40 Portland Estate St
John's Wood villa development. Stucco; slate roof. Grecian. 2 storeys on
basement. 3 windows wide with former gig-house wing to right. Doorway to left
approached by steps with flat architrave and consoled cornice. Ground floor
with tripartite sash in architrave with cornice on consoles and architraved
sashes to 1st floor. Plat band over basement. Doric quoin pilasters rising to
frieze and crowning cornice with blocking course with shaped centre block.
Geometric, palmette pattern cast iron balcony to ground floor. Similar villa
type to the adjoining Eyre Estate.
