Narrowly detached villa (linked on ground floor). c1830-40 Portland Estate St
John's Wood villa development. Stucco; slate roof. Italianate-Grecian. 2
storeys on basement. 4 windows wide with entrance bay to left and 3 windows in
canted bay to right. Projecting enclosed stucco porch with segmental arched
opening and cornice and blocking course, approached by steps. Recessed sashes
in architrave surrounds. Plat band over basement; elaborate console brackets to
flat eaves of hipped roof. Similar villa type to the adjoining Eyre Estate.
