AUDLEM SHROPSHIRE UNION CANAL SJ 64 SE Wharf Cottage, Audlem 1162 - 8/22 Wharf, at SJ 657 436 II Lock cottage. 1827-30. 2 storey variant of Telford's standard design. Brick, with overhanging slate roof and 2 stacks. Large polygonal bay with hipped roof and 3, cambered arch 4-light sash windows on ground floor. Above, a similar window flanked by single flat arched blind windows. To left of bay, a single cambered arch 4-light sash on each floor, with a small C20 window on first floor. To right of bay, a low entrance lobby extension, with cambered arch doorway and C20 part-glazed door.
