Canal house. Early C19. Red brick in Flemish bond with limestone lintels:
Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. L plan. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window
front has a central doorway, with a small stone canopy on shaped brackets, below
a blind window, outer bays have 16-pane sashes. Shallow-pitched roof projects at
the eaves and verge, and has stacks at both ends. Rear wing, returning from
right, has a large sash, 5 panes wide, facing left. Interior not inspected.
Railings curve out iron the right side of the front and link to panelled stone
