Incised face of three lines each in the top corners, to: Martin Newbray d. 15th Feb 1741 Aged 53 years. -when sickness comes the night we think it long/ from watch to watch the morning cometh on/ before night comes make use of precious light/ before death enters with his gastly sight-.
